As an exercise in editorial design, I researched, planned, and executed a magazine based on a topic of personal interest.
/01 CHALLENGE
Designing a complete magazine based on a set of personal interests.
Revival Magazine is a quarterly guide to health, fitness, and self-care. Revival's main focus is to encourage readers to understand and learn the benefits of taking care of themselves.
The magazine is split into four sections: skincare, food, fitness, and motivation. Each section is filled with handpicked educational articles about a variety of self-care topics and tips for beginners who are curious about where to start.
/02 ART DIRECTION
Curating an aesthetically pleasing and cozy atmosphere for the reader to sink into.
The design system involves a pastel colour palette and charming iconography to create aesthetically pleasing visuals for the reader. Lowercase sans-serif typography is used throughout the magazine to create a modern and friendly presence.
Each section of the magazine is colour-coded and labeled in the Table of Contents to enhance the reading experience.
