As the main Graphic Designer for this project, I developed a brand identity, package design, and promotional marketing campaign for a Greek Mythology inspired alcohol brand.
/01 CHALLENGE
Crafting a new brand unlike anything seen before in the beverage industry.
Dionysus is a Greek Mythology inspired brand that specializes in luxurious and refined alcohol.
The beverage line includes four incredibly smooth drinks, each named after a notable Greek God, such as: Eros Cognac, Hades Gin, Poseidon Vodka, and Zeus Whiskey.
Each bottle in the collection has its own unique colour, rock geode, and gold foil icon representing the chosen Greek God.
/02 CREATIVE DIRECTION
Pairing opulence and refinement with the spirit of festivity.
Dionysus, being the Greek God of winemaking, fruit orchards, and festivity, is who inspired the main theme of the brand.
The design system involves a deep and moody colour palette playing off the chosen geode rock formations. Gold foil accents line the packaging to emphasize the opulence and intricacy of the brand identity.
Print Out-Of-Home advertisements, such as billboards and posters, were created to introduce the public to the new brand and create interest.
/03 LAUNCH CAMPAIGN
Generating buzz and egagement for a top-shelf brand.
The launch campaign kicks off at the annual Taste of the Danforth: Greek Fest in Toronto, Ontario. The campaign direction includes a branded festival booth where Dionysus merchandise and full-sized bottles can be purchased.
A Water Pong competition is held at three different times throughout the day for competitors to win a free Dionysus bottle of their choosing.
